So, how do you track all SPACs?

There’s a handful of services. Some were around from 2010 when the SPACs started to regain popularity after the 2007–2008 financial crisis. Some are new, created and launched in 2020 to meet the market’s growing demand. To list a few:

As the list of active SPACs is continuing a growth trajectory whit out any sign of plateau or decline. It’s important as ever to track them efficiently and conveniently.

While the team at Spaclify.com is developing their product they offer an export of a daily updated, full SPAC watch list for Yahoo! Finance.

Go to Spaclify.com and click the Download link. Whilst you are here, subscribe to their newsletter where they cover important events in the SPAC universe, alongside the product development.

If you need help importing the watchlist into Yahoo! Finance, follow the process below.

  • Go to My Portfolio at Yahoo! Finance.
  • Click Import at the right.
  • Choose the downloaded Spaclify watchlist and Submit.
  • Enjoy the full list of SPACs at your fingertips.
  • Use Yahoo! Finance mobile app for Android or iOS to set a price alert, reads news and more. Seriously, great free app.

How do you update the list?

As we get a new SPAC every week or so, it’s important to keep your watchlist updated.

Few ways how you can do this:

  1. Follow Spaclify on Twitter or subscribe to their newsletter where they inform you about new SPACs and you can add the tickers manually into your watchlist.
  2. Delete the imported watchlist and repeat the download and import process above. Keep in mind, if you track your holdings, they would be deleted as well.
  3. Download the delta-watchlist which would include only new SPACs for the given week. Not currently available, but was promised by Spaclify team via the newsletter (subject to demand).
